Boulevard of Broken Kitties

h1 Thursday, October 26th, 2006

Oh don’t worry, they’re not broken, they’re getting fixed!

I am cat-less at the moment. They’re at the Vet for the night and getting spayed tomorrow. I don’t like this. I hated leaving them there, in that cold, stale environment, all confused and bewildered. I think about them in some cage wondering where they are and where I am and that this could be forever because they don’t understand “I’ll see you tomorrow”. I keep expecting one to jump up on the desk, and it is eerily quiet in here. No sounds of claws picking at fake leather chairs or jingly toys or air whizzing by as they tear-ass it up the hall.

So, AH calls to say he’s on his way to pick me and the cats up. He lives 2 minutes from me, so after I hang up I start working the cats towards the cat carrier with treats. They haven’t been in this thing since they were a lot smaller, so it wasn’t easy getting them in because they barely fit! They weren’t squished or anything, but it certainly isn’t the roomy cage it once was. Anyway, I got them in and then watched the window and waited. And waited. I called him and said “where are you? I got them in the carrier and you live like 2 seconds from me!” He said he was in another part of the city finishing work when he called me. Oops. Well, I wasn’t about to take them out of the carrier because I’d never get them back in there without bloodshed (MINE!)

AH finally arrived and I told him the address of the clinic. I had looked it up in the phone book earlier to make sure. I told him it was on Street Name Blvd. I had double/triple checked it, I was CERTAIN. We drove up there and I saw a strip mall that looked familiar. “I think it’s in there”, I said. “No, it can’t be, that’s not Blvd., it’s Street Name Drive. Are you sure it was Blvd.?” “Yes! I checked, like, 3 times. Definitely Blvd. Definitely.” (Not exact words). I insisted that the building structure looked familiar as being the place, but he insisted it would have to be further up if it was on the Blvd. So we drove further up, and there was nothing. I called the clinic to find where they were exactly, and they are in the strip mall we had been at, just the other side. AH said “but that’s NOT Blvd.” And I said “well, those strip malls always have weird addresses and don’t seem to be on the street they say the’re on. Sometimes.”

We finally enter the clinic and drop off the cats. Sniff. AH asks “are you guys on Street Name Blvd. or Drive?” She said Drive. He gave me the evil eye. “The PHONE BOOK says Blvd. I SWEAR!!”

He drives me home and as soon as I get in I find the page in my phione book, figuring I’d scan it and send it to him with a big circle around the Blvd. if I can figure out how to do that in Paint. I find the page, and there it is, clear as day: Street Name Drive.

And this is after I gave him shit for not believing me when he asked how he could change his ISP password for his email account in Outlook Express without calling his ISP and them knowing it. I told him he can’t, they need to know your account information and you set it up through them. He didn’t believe me and called his friend who works for that company and asked him. He got the same answer, and I’m all “see? Why do you ask me and then not believe me? It’s so insulting.” Gee, Donna, I DON’T KNOW.

Pepper plays with a water bottle cap. These are all over my apartment. Yet I still BUY them toys!

Yes little ones, get used to being comfy in a space that size. You’re going on an adventure…

Canada’s Got Talent, Too

h1 Thursday, October 26th, 2006

Update - last night I slept on my T-shirt sheets, and I looooove them! So do my kitties, first time both of them slept on my other pillow together. Aw.

The other night I was reminded of a talent I have. I don’t think anyone is actually aware that I have this incredible gift, and I figure it’s time I unleash it on the world.

First I will give you a few scenarios:

Example One:
Let’s say you feel like eating some cheese and crackers, topped with slices of pickle. So, you slice up some cheddar, slice up a couple pickles, and toss a handful of crackers on a plate. You take it into the living room and sit yourself in front of the TV and start assembling your cracker/cheese slice/pickle combos.

Example Two:
You work in an office and there is a mail-out that needs to be done. You print off a stack of letters and grab a bunch of envelopes from the box and head to your desk to start stuffing them.

Example Three:
You want to print some brochures on coloured paper. You put an estimated amount of paper in the printer and set your computer to print X number of copies.

Example Four:
You’re putting together a photo album or a scrapbook. You take a stack of photos or articles that you want to include, and start putting it together.

And my talent?

Example One:
I will end up with the exact number of cracker/cheese/pickle components. There will not be an extra cracker or shortage of pickles and no cheese will stand alone.

Example Two:
The number of envelopes I just happened to grab will be the exact number I need for the letters.

Example Three:
The stack of coloured paper I put in the printer without counting will be the same as the X number of copies I am printing.

Example Four:
I will have taken the exact number of photos or articles to fill the book without having counted anything out beforehand.

I know, I know… I don’t know what to say either. It is simply astonishing and I am often in awe of myself over it. There must be a way I can make money from this… any ideas?

Pita’s latest talent is in no need of an explanation.

T-Shirt Sheets!!!

h1 Tuesday, October 24th, 2006

Thread count, schmread count. I found a new favourite thing and it doesn’t cost a fortune! I’m like the Perez Hilton of shopping, I need to share what I find. This may be old news to some, but I didn’t know until today.

I was reading a blog earlier where the author was talking about her very comfortable bed, which is fitted with T-shirt sheets. I thought… T-shirt sheets? And Googled it. I read this and knew I had to get me some. If it’s good enough for Oprah…

So I looked at Sears website and found 100% cotton jersey sheets for $29.99. Woo hoo! Since I live next door to a Sears, I figured I’d just go buy a set. But it took FOREVER to find a floor associate (the bedding aisles were too tight for my scooter, although I did see my 400 thread count sheets for $130, but I’m glad I didn’t give in) and she showed me things like fleece blankets because she didn’t know what I was talking about. I said “that’s fine, I’ll just order them online” and went out to the mall to get my latte before heading home.

One more stop, though… maybe Wal-mart has them? So I went in there, and sure enough, there they were… for $22.84! And they felt sooooo good (they’re in a little tied bag made of the sheet material). With a deeper pocket depth than the Sears ones, so they will hopefully fit over my big mattress.

I’m going to have the most comfortable bed on earth. Don’t you just love the feel of a big, old, comfy T-shirt?

Now I’m going to have to make a new category in here called “My Favourite Things” or something, and then browse through two years plus worth of entries to see what others belong in it. Sigh.

Who needs a comfy bed with T-shirt sheets when you’ve got a porcelain one that dispenses water?

Today I finally went back to OPTIMUS for visits with the OT and PT. I haven’t gone because shortly after I returned from Montreal I got a cold, and then right after I kicked that, it hit me back with the flu. I haven’t had the flu in years and years, but I guess my defenses were down and I tend to get sick when I’m in that position and not taking my vitamins and supplements regularly. Tsk tsk. So anyway, I’ve been battling that for a couple weeks and of course, when you have MS the flu worsens your symptoms. But I won’t sit here and whine about that. I’ll let you off the hook, but, you know, just when I thought I was finally getting back to the way I was before… BLAH.

So anyway, I returned to OPTIMUS today and the OT just basically talked to me about the different adaptive equipment out there, and to make sure I have everything I need. I still need a front closure bra, and then of course there is all the kitchen supplies I could use. The catalogue she showed me doesn’t have prices, how convenient. So I went to their website and HOLY SHIT, the chopping board I want is $107.90!! For a chopping board!! Then I got looking at the different knives and stuff I could use, and, well, it’s nuts. I can’t believe how expensive this stuff is.

Then I met with my PT, and she tested me on my balance and mobility. I scored 42/56. 52 and under = cane, 44 and under = walker. So, I’m using the right equipment anyway, but I still want to get to “cane” status for the most part. She gave me exercises to improve that and I got a referral to a supervised exercise program through “Living Well with a Chronic Illness”, that is supposed to improve balance and mobility as well. Finally! This is what I have been wanting, a regular program that I have to get off my butt and GO to. The best part is, it takes place across the street from me. Woo hoo! I should be hearing back in a couple weeks about that. She’s also looking into one up at the University that is more one-on-one with a kinesiologist.

Oh, and I should mention, my flu symptoms started to disappear quickly after I started drinking my colloidal silver again. I made/drank it pretty regularly for a couple years, and as long as I did that, I never got so much as a sniffle (and no, even 16 oz/day for two years didn’t turn my skin gray!!!). This past year I got lazy and stopped making it for some reason. And my health? Worse this past year than in years before, that’s for sure. So, I started it up again, and within 24 hours this stabbing nerve pain I’d had in my right side for about a week was completely gone and hasn’t come back, and there was a noticeable improvement in my cold. That stuff does something good for me, so I intend to keep it up now. You’ll be the first to know if I turn blue, but I am one of those that knows properly made CS won’t do that, but do your own research and make up your own mind!

Hey, I haven’t written since last week, so I haven’t mentioned that on Friday I went out for lunch with my best friend from elementary school, Carolyn. We had such a great time, we can just pick right up and roll with it. She looks amazing. She’s lost weight and is in better shape than I’ve ever seen her! She said “it’s all the sex I’m having!” I asked, “with WHO? Aren’t you married?” Hehe I guess after, what - 14, 15 years together she and her hubby are at this great place in their marriage where they are so in love and happy rather than getting bored with each other as many other couples might after that amount of time. Maybe it’s the kids getting older and more independent, but whatever it is, it’s working. She said I look better than I did 10 years ago. Excuse me?? She said it’s something about the confidence that comes with maturity… and “your skin… LOOK at your skin! What do you do?” Well, I may get that stuff from NZ, but I know when it comes to my skin it is mostly genetics. Because I have never washed a stitch of make-up off my face at night or worn night cream or anything like that. I wash and lotion in the a.m. and that’s it. No wrinkles at 38 is nice, but I think my grandma was 90 before she got any! My mom looks younger too, so, yeah, genetics.

Oh, speaking of skin care, I received my order from NZ today, and right away I opened that Manuka Honey and Lanolin cream and dabbed some on my cheeks to see what it was like. I then immediately wanted to EAT MY CHEEKS. Have you ever tried manuka honey? Mmmmm, nectar of the Gods, that stuff is. Smells amazing, too.

Anyway, Carolyn and I went to - you guessed it - Olive Garden, and then to Starbuck’s for lattes afterwards. We promised to get together again a lot sooner this time, she even extended a dinner invitation for “some Friday night soon”. She lives in Garrison Woods, one of my favourite neighbourhoods in the city. Their house is now worth almost twice what they paid for it a few years ago, and in that neighbourhood, that means quite a lot! She is a technical writer at an engineering firm, he is a lawyer, so, yeah, they’re allowed. But I get to go for dinner!!

While staying in the care facility over the summer, I learned they have a Seniors assisted living centre in Garrison Woods, and that became my dream… to be able to afford to live in that facility one day. Maybe I should re-think my dreams, huh? Wouldn’t it be better to retire in my own mansion and have my hunky Second Cup latte bitch take care of me? Geez Donna, you’re only as big as your dreams.

I am officially in the music business. Sort of. Rob has asked me to handle all his promo from now on, and he will pay me for it. I am also working my butt off trying to get him and Peter a show in Calgary for November 11. I guess there was a mix-up with agents/managers and nothing for their Western tour was actually booked in advance, so they’ve been scrambling around trying to do it themselves. I offered to book Calgary, because I’m here and I know the live music venues in the city. However, it is short notice and that is a holiday long weekend, so it’s not easy. I have spent hours on the phone and e-mailing places… if they had to pay me my hourly bookkeeping rate for this, they would owe me more than they’ll be making at their show!

Anyway, I’m working on it and there are a couple possibilities. I’m sure they will buy me a beer for my trouble, although everyone knows I’m glad to do it for nothing!! The sad part for me is that they are in Edmonton on November 10 and Grande Prairie on the 12th, so there will be no hanging out with Donna for a couple days this time. That’s the rock ‘n roll lifestyle for ya. Rob says, “hey, I’m just doing my rock n’ roll duty” and when I came back with “creating a buzz, buzz, buzz…” he was quite pleased. “I say that to so many people and they don’t get it!” Heh.

Oh, and add to that I’m helping Terra Hazelton with her website updates for which she is sending me chocolates from Switzerland. She’s in Europe right now. Score!

Yesterday in the mall I saw an Amish woman filling out an application for a credit card. WTF??

You may or may not have noticed down the right side of my page I have added a section of links called “Fellow MSers”. I didn’t start this blog to be about MS or anything, but since it is something that affects my life so much, it comes up and everyone knows I have it. Anyway, I’m not a member of any “MS Community” online and any time I have joined a group, via Yahoo or something, I have left shortly afterwards for reasons I won’t get into, I guess I just see things a little differently. Anyway, Sylvie and Maggie are friends I met online because of their AWESOME attitudes (Sylvie doesn’t update often, but she keeps an amazing site here), mdmhvonpa has been reading my blog and commenting for awhile and he has a lot of links to other MS stuff if you are looking for that. As does Charles, whom I don’t know, but he links to me and has an MS blog that offers podcasts. Of which I am totally out of the loop on, but I’m sure they’re great and beneficial to others out there. I e-mailed mdmhvonpa once to find out more about him and to be friendly, but he never responded. I’m not sure if that is because he (or you, as I know you’re reading!) didn’t receive it, or is trying to keep a mystery-man aura about him.

I’m taking Pita and Pepper to be spayed next week. I know it should have been done by now, but I’ve had other things to worry about. They’re not in heat yet, so at least I’ve got that going for me. AH is going to drive me to take them in on Thursday night, and then my parents and I will pick them up on Friday after the chiropractor. I have no way to get them there Friday morning, so I need to bring them in the night before. At least there is no extra cost for that. Except my PAIN of living without them for 24 hours and worrying myself silly.

Oh, I need to complain about that Silvert’s online store. Scratch anything good I have ever said about them. Yesterday I received my second order; I had added a dress I liked to this order, and they sent me the wrong one. I have this grossly bright purple dress with big bright flowers on it. Not to be worn by a woman under 80. Which, of course, may be expected because they are mainly a senior’s clothing store. But I had picked a white one with little blue flowers that I thought was cute. Then I went to try on the bra, and they sent the wrong bra too! I had ordered the velcro one and they sent one with about 10 little hooks in the front. Useless to me. What a waste of my time and money, now I have to send everything back. I e-mailed them to find out how I can go about sending it back collect and ensure my refund, seeing as they’re the ones who screwed up. Normally you pay the shipping on returns, but screw that.

A few years ago there was a big mix-up on some lingerie I ordered online. To apologize for their error and make up for the hassle, they sent me a free pair of red frilly crotchless undies. I laughed my ass off. And I’m sure I still have them somewhere.

Okay, well, my brother is supposed to be here soon. That means I’m going SHOPPING! See ya.

Ooooooh…. that dinner looks WAY better than mine!

Hellew??

Helloooooerrrr?! Who’s there??

A Few of my Favourite Things

h1 Monday, October 16th, 2006

Aaaaaaaaand it snowed last night. It’s so wonderful having an ankle made of steel so you can predict the weather. Not!

Today the City sent me TWO housekeepers. They’re training a bunch of new people right now. It was great for me, because Pita and Pepper followed them around everywhere to see what they were up to, and play with their rags and mops and stuff. That meant I got to spend some quality time in here getting actual work done, without kitty bums in my face.

With the snow out there (just a bit - but still, it’s SNOW) I got thinking about Christmas. And the fact that there is a new Christmas store in my mall. All Christmas, all the time! Then I read Joi’s MySpace blog about her favourite things, and that reminded me that Oprah will be doing her “Favourite Things” Christmas show one of these days, and I better beat her to it.

~ Donna’s Favourite Things ~

This list is not going to include my favourite musicians, CDs, books, movies, food, etc. because that would make it way too long! I’m not technologically advanced, so you won’t see the latest iPod or digital camera in this list. Just every day stuff I like!

Skin care products from New Zealand ~ I have mentioned them several times before, and cannot stress it enough. This stuff is AWESOME, especially the Rotorua Mud and Lanolin products. The Manuka Honey stuff is new, I included a jar of the facial cream in my recent order, I’ll have to let you know how it is. You can now do 100% of your ordering online and know what it will cost you (I used to have to fax them my credit card info after they e-mailed me what the shipping would be). Even with shipping from NZ, I can get about 2-3 years worth of amazing skin care for about $60 CDN.

So Sexy Shampoo and Conditioner from Victoria’s Secret ~ I first read about this in Robyn’s journal when she bought it, and I think a whole bunch of her readers bought it around the same time. I use it sparingly because it’s not cheap, so I save it for when I’m going out or seeing someone “special”. It smells soooooo good.

Unlined Full Coverage Bra by Victoria’s Secret ~ Okay, so I lied when I said a few entries ago that I never order bras over the internet. I forgot about this one, my most favourite bra. I’ve had it for years and it has lasted and lasted, and it is the most comfortable one I own.

Crocs ~ You knew this was coming. 10 reasons you gotta have ‘em. I love my Crocs!

Nu-Step ~ This exercise machine was in the physiotherapy room at the care facility I was in over the summer. I love it because it is one I can actually use! You are seated, and by moving your legs, the arms move as well. So I can get a good arm stretch in there. And, there are velcro foot straps to hold my right foot in place. I would love to have one in my home!

Seattle’s Best Coffee ~ Yes, I know, I go on and on about my lattes. But every morning at home I make myself a cup of Seattle’s Best coffee (medium roast). When you get right down to it, that is my absolute favourite coffee. I’ll buy a vanilla soy latte for an afternoon treat, but this coffee is what makes my morning complete. (Poet, know it!) I’ll take it over Tim Horton’s any day!

Olay Ribbons Body Wash ~ There are several different kinds now, I have only used the Body Butter ribbons one so far. I love it! I never use soap in the shower, only body wash or shower gel, and I have tried soooo many. I usually have 3 different bottles on the go at any given time. (Another favourite is Ivory Moisturizing Body Wash, which is a great price for the amount you get!) The Olay with Ribbons is expensive, so I’ll alternate it with another kind (or two), plus it is super moisturizing so you don’t really need it every day.

Burt’s Bees Lip Shimmers ~ A hint of colour and shine added to the World’s Best Lip Balm! Lip health and colour without added chemicals and crap that you’ll end up ingesting if you lick your lips all the time like I do. Heh. Who could ask for anything more?

Mach3 Razor ~ Yeah, so, maybe it IS a man’s razor, but no woman’s razor I’ve ever tried has shaved my legs this good!

Flannel Pajamas ~ And I just found this site. A Pajamagram??!? How cool is that?!? I’m a pajama addict. I have so many PJ’s, yet I sleep in the nude. Go figure… but I love to throw on PJ’s when I get up and/or after I shower, if I’m going to be sticking around home. Or, when I get home from work and have no plans the rest of the day. Add some fluffy socks and Seattle’s Best coffee, and I’m in heaven. LOVE IT.

I’ll also mention of Purdy’s Chocolates and Avon’s Tranquil Moments fragrance mist and 400+ thread count bed sheets because I love those things too. I guess I just posted a “Donna’s Recommended Products” entry. Okay! I stand behind them. I’m such a Taurus - comfort, touch, smell, indulgence. Those are a few of my favourite things!

Pita likes to sleep on Momma’s scooter.

Pepper likes to climb onto shelves. Every single shelf she can find!

They’re Purrrrrfect!

h1 Sunday, October 15th, 2006

I feel like typing now, so I am making another entry. No guarantees that it will be interesting or amusing, but I am bored so you’ll get what I’m givin’!

I was so bored tonight I created a MySpace profile for my cats.

I keep getting these spam e-mails that have only one word in them (I don’t open them, but I use Outlook Express which automatically shows the top part of the message): QUIT. That’s it. I can’t help but wonder if that has ever been sent to someone at their workplace and they took it as a “sign”. Or maybe you were thinking about quitting smoking, and two seconds later, there it is. I wonder if these spammers realize they could be a true inspiration to someone?

But WHY are they sending them out, there isn’t even a link or anything in the body… they’re not selling anything… I don’t get it.

I went to the mall earlier to pick up more Vitamin C, Fisherman’s Friends and Nyquil (ahhhh, I sleep so well with that… I only allow myself to take it when I am justifiably sick, though. Otherwise, a negative habit may be formed). I didn’t trap Pita & Pepper in my office, I figured I’d see how they did being left out… if they would run out the open door. They were both sleeping peacefully in the living room, so I quietly climbed on my scooter and headed for the door. Of course, before I even got to the door Pita had jumped up on to the back of my scooter chair and climbed to the top. I set her down and told her to keep away from the door, and she listened. She didn’t try to run out!! And Pepper took no notice anyway, as usual.

I stopped to get a latte on the way out, and decided to go wild and crazy by mixing it up a bit. I asked for half vanilla and half maple flavour shots. Oh dear God in heaven, I believe I have found a new favourite! I love maple. Which reminds me, I have pure maple syrup in the fridge. It’s waffles for breakfast!

When I got home, I opened the door, walked back up the hall to get on my scooter to drive in, and fully expected to see Pita’s head peeking out. She was in the kitchen, and just watched me drive in and didn’t race for the door. I do believe they have been TRAINED. Is that possible? Or just a fluke? Time will tell, I guess. Tomorrow is another day.

Oh, speaking of angelic cats, I bought these two scarecrow dolls last weekend to make my place all festive for Thanksgiving and Halloween. Haha (impulse purchase). They have straggly strips of paper coming out from under their hats and jackets, and while in line at the store I remember thinking, “my cats are going to chew these up and I’ll have little bits of paper all over the apartment…” And you know what? One is placed on the middle of the kitchen table and the other one is in the living room, and neither of them have been touched. I am in awe. It’s not like they are afraid of them… they always jump on the table and walk around it and sniff it. They just… leave it at that.

And can we talk about how cute they are when they’re in bed with me?? OMG. Pepper follows me to bed and after a few cuddles, she curls up on my pillow just above my head, where she stays most of the night from what I can tell. Pita arrives later, and she curls up on my side… whatever side is facing up. When I want to roll over, she gets up and waits for me to re-adjust myself, and then crawls up again. Sometimes she’ll stick her nose in my neck and wrap her front paws around my arm or hand. Or just lovingly place a paw on my cheek or lips…

I die a little.

Hehehe Momma thinks we’re angels now. Our plan is working!

Another MeMe

h1 Sunday, October 15th, 2006

This Meme has been allllllll over the internet, and I’m taking my own stab at it because I’ve got nothing else to write about. Life has been very quiet. My cold is back, I guess I stopped fighting it too soon. And my left ankle is killing me with every step I take, so I think that means it will snow soon. It better mean something, because I don’t like to suffer for no good reason!

1. When was the last time you shaved?
Yesterday morning. I tell ya, that is one cool thing about getting older… I don’t have to shave nearly as much!!

2. Explain what ended your last relationship.
“Relationship” is a little too strong of a word, how about “fling”? He didn’t show up/didn’t call when he was supposed to come over. We’re good friends though now, and he is back with his wife and kids, so it’s all good.

3. What were you doing this morning at 8 a.m.?
Cuddling kitties

4. What were you doing 15 minutes ago?
Making a coffee

5. Are you any good at math?
Um… high school question?? I’d say yes, but I don’t remember much about it because WE DON’T USE IT AFTER SCHOOL.

6. Your prom night?
I didn’t have one because I skipped out on school and headed to Toronto. Yeah, I was too cool for school. Heh

7. Do you have any famous ancestors?
William the Conqueror, apparently.

8. Have you had to take a loan out for school?
Nope

9. Do you know the words to the song on your myspace profile?
I sure do. Although it changes frequently. Today it is “Beautiful” by Rob Szabo

10. Last thing received in the mail?
A Visa bill

11. How many different beverages have you had today?
Two - coffee and water

12. Do you ever leave messages on people’s answering machine?
Yup, although I don’t know why I bother. I usually get a call back right away saying “you called?” because they saw it in their missed calls list. “Did you listen to my message?” “No”. Sigh.

13. Who did you lose your CONCERT virginity to?
Duran Duran - I was 15 years old, 6th row on the floor before I raced to the front, and ohhhhh man, John Taylor looked me in the eyes!!!

14. Do you draw your name in the sand when you go to the beach?
No

15. What’s the most painful dental procedure you’ve had?
I guess having my wisdom teeth removed

16. What is out your back door?
I don’t really have a back door. I have a door into the hallway of my apartment building, and my patio doors that go outside. I guess the patio doors are more back doors… so, that would be a little concrete patio, grass and the parking lot. Then the MALL.

17. Any plans for Friday night?
No… I’m seeing Carolyn during the day so I’ll most likely have (another) quiet night in.

18. Do you like what the ocean does to your hair?
I probably would if I ever WENT to the ocean!

19. Have you ever received one of those big tins of 3 different popcorns?
No

20. Have you ever been to a planetarium?
Yes, we went in school a few times

21. Do you re-use towels after you shower?
Yeah, sure! They even ask you to do that in hotels now.

22. Some things you are excited about?
Pita & Pepper, seeing Carolyn next week, Rob and Peter coming next month

23. What is your favorite flavor of JELLO?
I haven’t eaten Jello in ages. No, I lied… I haven’t made Jello in ages, but they served it for dessert a lot at the Care facility! I remember liking lime and strawberry.

24. Describe your keychain(s)?
A little plastic Corona bottle.

25. Where do you keep your change?
In a large vase

26. When was the last time you spoke in front of a large group of people?
I think it was March 2004? Eric’s class. (Haven’t talked to Eric in ages, by the way. He doesn’t work in the mall next to me anymore and moved to another part of the city. I really need to give that boy a call!)

27. What kind of winter coat do you own?
Hmmm.. it’s black with a hood and it was really cheap.

28. What was the weather like on your graduation day?
Graduation day?

29. Do you sleep with the door to your room open or closed?
Wide open. I have kitties!! They’d be quite upset if it was closed.

So, that was fun. What did you think, Pita?
