Random Thoughts for Today

Apparently everywhere the Queen goes, clouds follow, so that would explain our weather. Blech.
Tomorrow is my last day working at my big client way across the city. I am so happy about that!! I will miss the awesome muffins from the coffee shop next door and free lunches from Boston Pizza (and the regular cheques), but none of it is worth the long rides (unless AH is driving) and the intense dread I experience every time I think about going there.
The other significant thing happening tomorrow is the next American Idol is crowned! I love Bo, but I am willing to forfeit my hope that he wins so he isn’t forced to record that awful song and release it as his first single.
So what happens when you have severe lower back and nerve problems and you convince yourself you’re okay and skip out on regular chiropractic treatments for months and months in order to save some money?? You pay for it eventually anyway. Arghhh I am in so much freakin’ pain! Saturday my back finally caved and screamed for help and I had no choice but to listen. Unfortunately, it was a long weekend so I wasn’t able to get a treatment until today. I am still in tons of pain, but I am hoping it will be a bit better the day after treatment, plus I am going back on Thursday and Friday. And I will go regularly from now on like a good girl, lesson learned.
BRAD PITT AND ANGELINA JOLIE ARE GOING TO BE IN CALGARY THIS SUMMER. Brad is filming a movie here. Those two have got to be the most beautiful and sexy couple (well, he is hot and she is SMOKIN’) on the planet right now. I hope they are videotaping. I mean, I passed on Paris and Pamela, but that one, I would pay real money to see 
I got my haircut yesterday. I love my hairdresser. I also love that after my haircut while waiting for my ride home, I can duck into Reitman’s really quick and find a great deal on skirts and stuff. Oh, and I should mention that Purdy’s is right there too, and I walked right by it twice and bought NOTHING. My new routine is going well, affirmations and all. 
Lindy is here on Friday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Heehee, I was thinking the same thing about the Queen!! She is really not having good luck with the weather. Oh well, her gold-plated umbrella should help to ease the pain.
The Queen? You mean, me?? I didn’t mind the weather that much! hee! Donna, I tend to avoid the chiro often too and then I pay for it literally in the end. The last time I didn’t go for close to 2 months and when I did, I was SO sore and in pain for at least half a week afterwards. The gym is helping me out now but I am sure in a week or so I will need to go back. You gotta be totally religious about your appointments-better to spend the money and lose the pain!!
Oh, and I will fully ignore that comment about you passing a Purdy’s and not going in-my heart won’t handle the stress of my not having been to a Purdy’s in a lonnnnnng time!!
And Bo STILL rocks regardless of that idol happenings tonight

Please note that I am trying extremely hard to ignore the Brad/Angelina videotapes comment.

I’m sorry to hear you are in pain lady! Get better for the PJ’s concert ok? We need to have a wacky good time that weekend, I’ve had enough doom and gloom for now.
