Daily Ramblings #46547658578

I read this last night:
“KISS, which wrapped its Rock the Nation tour last year, is on hiatus as singer-guitarist Paul Stanley continues to recover from a second surgery to correct a hip-replacement operation that took place in October. “
Perhaps someone is a little too old to rock ‘n roll all night and party every day, hmmm??
I am soooo glad I have the next two days at home. Yesterday and today were two very long days because Access Calgary SUCKS in weather like this. I’m not even going to get into the problems I had with them today, it would just be one long bitching rant. I think that will be put to better use in a letter to them that is cc’d to the Mayor. Not that they ever listen or change anything. They saved $1.6 million dollars last year with this service, so why do they care that every single person who uses it and every single driver who drives for them thinks the service sucks and doesn’t work? (I have yet to meet one single driver or another client who is happy with it). It just doesn’t work.
Tomorrow is supposed to be what… -45°C with the wind-chill? And Thursday just as bad. Yup, I am soooo glad I get to stay home!! I can work on business plans and clean my apartment and do my own month end financials (OMG it’s actually year end time!), and most importantly, stay in my flannel jammies, curl up under a blanket and be warm and comfortable while I drink hot tea and watch movies. “Fahrenheit 9/11″ and “Love, Actually” were mailed to me on Thursday, so they should be here tomorrow!
I watched the premiere of the new season of The Bachelorette last night. It’s going to be a great season!! The Bachelor/ette shows are the only show of that type I have watched, but I didn’t watch a single episode of the last Bachelor. I was bored with it. But this season, we see the return of Jennifer Schefft, my most favourite Bachelorette ever, who won the heart of Andrew Firestone on a previous Bachelor but their relationship sizzled after nine months. She is looking damn fine, and this time the show takes place in New York City, which is cool. It’s hard to say this early on which guys are my favourites, but I wish she had let Fabrice go last night, he is a jerk, I don’t care how romantic his French ass self is. Stu is a bit stalkerish, she better keep an eye on him. I’m glad her friends picked Keith to stay because she hardly talked to him at the party and I thought he deserved a chance. (And how about that one guy, flirting with her friend in the kitchen? Smooth, pal, did you forget where you are? NO MORE ROSE FOR YOU!) I also liked Ben and Jerry. Heh. And of course, Jason the sweet virgin boy. The scenes of “what’s coming this season” look ooo ooo juicy!! I like the fact that the two previous Bachelorettes have stayed with their guys. The women know how to do this much better than the men do! Go Jen!!
So, old news now I know, Brad and Jen have split. This is going to be in the entertainment and tabloid news for a long, long time.

This photo is one of my most favourite Hollywood wedding photos EVER!
I was pooped to hear of the split (can’t really say “sad”, I don’t know them, but I did do an “awwwww!”) I am already sick of hearing the gossip columns fabricate all the reasons why and milk it TO DEATH. I was reading the online journal of a young British girl who was caught in the tsunami, and was with Nate Berkus for awhile. He told her Brad Pitt is a pothead with bad skin. Heh.
There is supposed to be a blizzard brewing out there tonight. So I’m going to shut this baby down, get under the covers and read. Or watch TV. Ciao!
Well good for you for sending out an email that may never get read! lol At least you did the right thing though. At any rate, it was smart staying home and out of the cold regardless-there are too many wierdos out there who forget that when there is ice, you don’t DRIVE 100 kms/hour. Course they are the ones who cause the accidents that kill people while they just drive along!
The Brad and Jen thing-no surprise really-I am sure it has to do with him wanting a family and her not being able to have kids. Like I know right? lol I tell ya NOTHING lasts in Hollywood-now just wait when either of them hook up again with other people! Oy! It is too bad because they both seemed like a great couple-very down to earth and real. I guess nothing is ever REAL in H-wood!
Brad and Jenn were so cute though. I’m quite disappointed. Now he will end up with some very much less-respectable actress. Tsktsk.
I luff U Donna.
