Releasing The Need
July 23rd, 2004 (Current Mood:

When someone shows you who they really are, believe them.
The first time.
How many times have we overlooked something or made excuses for someone’s behaviour? the same behaviour that ends up being the reason we are eventually hurt or pushed to our limits. It’s all in the gut people, your gut is always right!! Don’t ignore it or talk yourself out of what your gut is telling you, loud and clear. I can’t count the number of times my gut has told me one thing and I’ve done another. The times I have actually listened to my gut I have no stories about, because I simply listened to my gut and moved on, away from that person/job/situation. So I have no idea what could have happened and I’ve got nothing to bitch about! It’s the times I DIDN’T listen to my gut, and went ahead and accepted the job or client or friend or man into my life, that make up a good portion of the book I will someday write.
I believe we create every situation we find ourselves in, good or bad… every aspect of our life, our health, our problems, our successes. We need it for a reason, or it wouldn’t be there. The trick is to release the need for whatever is the problem(s) you’ve got. I have created a lot of problems for myself in my life… health, relationships, finances, etc. I’ve attracted a lot of negative, soul-sucking people to me. I obviously have a lot to learn. I do repeat a lot of the same patterns, with people especially. ‘Keep doing what you’ve always done, keep getting what you’ve always got.’ I am on the verge of making changes now. I can feel it, I can sense it, and I am creating that for myself. Changing my karmic energy. It’s exciting! There’s been a lot of bumps in the road, but it’s all happening perfectly.
